Pickin’ In The Park

FAHA began a music series in Fletcher Park and brought in several bluegrass bands and called it “Pickin’ in the Park.” This event is now sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department of the Town of Fletcher in September of each year. Foods (in paricular barbecue) and other refreshments are a part of the festivities. This event featuring heritage music is attended by hundreds of enthusiastic listeners who mark their calendars each year for this spectacular community event that brings together neighbors and visitors.
