A musical ballad based on an historic and tragic event in Fletcher, North Carolina.  The residents heard a might roar on February 8, 1933,when a cave-in shook the small town.  The dead totaled seven, two were black men and five were white men,  The tragedy took place at the Blue Ridge Limestone Quarry, still in operation, located off Fanning Bridge Road.
