The Four Choirs of Fletcher

The church choirs of Fletcher’s four historic churches present a collective public concert from time to time. Each choir sings selections rooted in its culture – from Latin chants by Calvary Episcopal Church to handclapping and rocking by St. John Baptist Church to homespun gospel by First Baptist Church of Fletcher to arranged choral music by Fletcher Methodist Church. These concerts are typically attended by several hundred people and have had a far-reaching and unifying effect. The first concert was the first time in 128 years that the two Baptist churches had been involved in a mutual project. Check our calendar of events for this one-of-a-kind musical event.
